Pinwheels for Prevention
On April 13 we planted a pinwheel garden In observance of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, National Week of the Young Child and National Library Week. These whimsical toys are to remind the community of happy childhood days and to encourage positive parenting. The Pinwheels for Prevention campaign focuses on community activities and public policies that prioritize the healthy development of children in recognition that healthy children are an essential building block for community and economic development. Shining in the sun, the pinwheels represent a bright future for our children and our community. To get further involved visit the Broomfield Early Childhood Council's website.
