Celebrate Broomfield’s multicultural community with a special Dia de Los Niños/Dia de Los Libros FREE event April 28 & 29 at the Broomfield Library featuring story times in languages from around the world; plus crafts, dance, and science from across the globe. (Print PDF's of program and flyer)

Friday, April 28 

  • Danzantes de Colores! (Broomfield Auditorium) The show is a joyful experience for families, adults, seniors, and children! Colorful dancers will perform traditional dances from Mexico, including dances celebrating the Colors of Spring and Spanish dances from the classic children’s book, “Ferdinand the Bull”. The program is directed by Jeanette Trujillo. Free tickets available in the Auditorium Lobby beginning at 6 p.m. Presented by Fiesta Colorado Dance Company.

Saturday, April 29 

    9:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.
    Outback Expeditions (Eisenhower Room)
    • Discover aboriginal artwork, kookaburra bird songs, and the Great Barrier Reef. Presented by Science Matters

    Arctic Expedition (Eisenhower Room)

    Rainbow Fish Dance (Broomfield Auditorium)
