    Broomfield will be partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration for the 10th annual Drug Take-Back. It is not safe to flush prescription drugs down the toilet or throw them in the household trash. Please bring unused, unwanted, or expired prescription drugs (liquid or solid-dosage) for safe disposal—no questions asked. Drugs may be in original containers. Intravenous solutions, injectables, chemotherapy drugs, and needles will NOT be accepted. Illicit substances such as marijuana or methamphetamine are not a part of this initiative.

  1. BCC Closed - Annual Maintenance Closure Week

    The Broomfield Community Center will be closed for annual maintenance starting on Monday, August 31, 2015 and will re-open on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. During this week, the front desk is available for registrations and questions from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m., but amenities in the facility will be unavailable.

This day is packed with activities including a 5K race, a clown contest, a parade, a trade fair, a craft festival, food booths, three stages of entertainment, demonstrations, and great community spirit.     Join us for our annual Fishing at the Bay event at the Broomfield Bay Aquatic Park. You need to bring your own fishing pole, hooks, and bait; we provide the trout. You may take the fish with you or catch and release. We take 30 children for each time slot. A waitlist is taken and. There is no charge for the adults. There is a two trout limit. Pre-registration is preferred to guarantee space. Age: 12 years and younger w/Parent or Guardian.
