  1. Children - Reading with Ringling Brothers

    September 30, All Day @ Children's Library

    The Children’s Library is excited to present a back-to-school reading program. Visit the library in September and pick up a Ringling Rewards Club Card for children ages 2 – 12 years. Just read any 5 books of your choice and return the card to the library to get your card stamped. Rewards Club Cards can be exchanged in advance at the circus box office for a free circus ticket. Program runs from September 2 - September 30. The circus comes to town in October. One entry per person and supplies are limited. Try out the Ringling website www.ReadingwithRingling.com for lots of cool games!

  2. Children - Preschool Story Time

    September 30, 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Children's Library Story Room

    Preschool Story Time For children 3 - 5 years who can sit on their own Tuesdays 10:30 -11 a.m. or Thursdays 1:30-2 p.m. Preschoolers enjoy stories and songs that develop early literacy skills and foster curiosity. This program is reserved for children ages three to five who can sit on their own and comfortably participate in a variety of literature based activities geared towards preparing children for learning to read. Asking children to attend without their caregivers helps to develop a sense of independence that will be needed as they start school. No registration required.

  3. Children - Eeny, Meeny, Miny Mo: Outside Neighborhood Games

    September 30, 3:45 PM - 5:00 PM @ Children's Library Story Room

    Learn to play outside group games at the library and take them home to play in your neighborhood! Be active, have a blast and find out how playing is one of the most important things you can do to keep yourself healthy. Presented by our very own Broomfield Public Health Department. Registration required, beginning Sept. 2

  4. Teen - Discovery Lab - Ages 9-18

    September 30, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ the first floor of the library, left of the circul
    Broomfield, CO 80020

    Explore activities that focus on science and art related subjects. Each session will offer materials for hands-on learning and directional support from an adult or teen volunteer. Open to students ages 9-18. Some sessions require registration- call the Teen Zone Desk at 720-887-2360 for program details and registration requirements. The Discovery Lab is located on the first floor of the library to the left of the Circulation Desk.

  5. Teen - Boost Your Brain - Grades 6-12

    September 30, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ the Eisenhower Room, on the 2nd floor of the libra

    Free math and science tutoring. Half-hour sessions available every Tuesday evening from 5-7 pm in the Eisenhower Room. This program is free for teens in grades 6-12. Registration is required and may be done at the Teen Zone Desk or by calling the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library Young Adult Department at 720-887-2360.
