  1. Cool Kids Winter Reading Program

    December 17, All Day @ Children's Library

    For children newborn - age 12. Kids, read 3 books between December 15 and January 12. Fill out an entry form in the Children's Library or download one starting December 15 from the Children's Library/Special Events page on the library's website. Put the form in the Cool Kids Winter Reading Program box on the Children's Desk. Be sure to choose books that you have not read before and books that are at your reading level. Non-readers may be read to. You may enter as many times as you like. Entries will be chosen at random to receive a very special prize. 720-887-2315

  3. Children - Preschool Story Time

    December 17, 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Children's Library Story Room

    Preschoolers enjoy stories and songs that develop early literacy skills and foster curiosity. This program is reserved for children ages 3 - 5 who can sit on their own and comfortably participate in a variety of literature based activities geared towards preparing children for learning to read. Asking children to attend without their caregivers helps to develop a sense of independence that will be needed as they start school. No registration required.Stop at the Children's Desk for a name tag and a ticket. This program is repeated on Thursdays,1:30 p.m.. - 2:00 p.m..

  4. Teen - Boost Your Brain - Grades 6 - 12

    December 17, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ the Eisenhower Room, on the 2nd floor of the library, unless otherwise noted.

    Free math and science tutoring. Half-hour sessions available every Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. in the Teen Zone.This program is for teens in grades 6 -12. Registration is required and may be done at the Teen Zone desk or by calling the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library Young Adult Department at 720.887.2360.
