  1. Tree Branch Recyling Drop-off Closed

    September 12 - September 18, 1:00 PM

    The tree branch drop-off at the Broomfield Recycling Center is temporarily closed. The site is flooded and muddy, making it unsafe for use. The site will reopen on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, during its normal operating hours of 1 to 5 p.m.

    September 16, All Day @ Children's Library

    The Children’s Library presents a back-to-school reading program “Reading with Ringling”! Visit the library in September and pick up a Ringling Rewards Club Card for children ages 2 – 12 years. Just read any 5 books of your choice and return the card to the library to be stamped. Ringling Rewards Club Cards can be exchanged in advance at the circus box office for a FREE circus ticket. One adult ticket must be purchased for every three FREE kids’ tickets redeemed. See library for more details. Stop in now – program runs from September 1 - September 30, supplies are limited and the circus comes to town in October.     Fancy Nancy Clancy Grows Up! As part of the BIG LIBRARY READ program, we will be featuring Nancy Clancy, Super Sleuth in both downloadable eBook and audio book formats from September 16th – 30th. During this two-week period, this book from the Nancy Clancy series will be available for every patron that wishes to read it - no holds, no waitlists. Just go to the Downloadable Collections page on our Library’s website starting Sept.16th to download your copy.

  4. Teen - TAB - Grades 6 - 12

    September 16, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ the Eisenhower Room, on the 2nd floor of the library.

    Teens in grades 6-12 are welcome to join TAB, help plan library programs, submit stories and art for The 411 (Teen Zone Newsletter), and make recommendations for teen books, music, and videos. Now accepting new applications to join.

  5. Teen - Pathways to Parenting: Oh No! A Teenage Brain Has Taken Over My Child! - For Parents

    September 16, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM @ the Eisenhower Room, on the 2nd floor of the library.

    Learn about the latest research on teen brain development and gain a better understanding of your child’s mind. This program is for parents. Registration can be done at the Teen Zone desk or by calling the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library Young Adult Department at 720.887.2360.
