    Miniature container gardens become homes for fairies! Use your imagination and creativity to make a Fairy Garden! Learn to select the right container and location for your garden, what drainage is needed, and what to plant. A Fairy Garden is a great family project, and its ideas are endless.

  1. Teen - Star Wars 101 - Grades 6-12

    Prepare for battle! Are you a Jedi or a Sith? Meet and train with your favorite Star Wars characters and choose which side you are going to join. Program meets outside in the park to the west of the library building. Registration required. Stop by the Teen Zone desk or call 720.887.2360. Grades 6-12

    June 7, 7:30 AM - 10:00 AM @ Anthem Community Park
    15600 Lowell Blvd.
    Broomfield, CO 80023

    Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Participants will begin their walks/runs/rides at 8 a.m. Parking is available to the east of Siena Reservoir. There will be a 2.5-mile walking loop and a 1-mile loop for families. Bikers will ride the surrounding trails on an approximate 8-mile loop through the Anthem community before winding their way back around Siena Reservoir. Participants will be treated to refreshments, t-shirts, and prizes donated by local sponsors. There will be a variety of educational and interpretive tables and displays including the Broomfield Nature Program, Broomfield Wildlife Masters, Broomfield Open Space Foundation, and several Broomfield departments.
