Join us at the Bay for Family Night!

Friday nights, 4 - 8 pm, June 2 - August 25, 2017

Join us for our family night! Bring your entire immediate family (up to a max of 5 people) from 4 - 8pm for $10 for residents and $20 for non-residents! Additional family members are $2/person. A great way to relax with your family and start the weekend with some fun!


Hours of Operation

We offer water aerobics classes, fitness classes for kids, swimming lessons, and other great programs all at the Bay! All hours are subject to change.


Pool is cleared 15 minutes prior to closure times.

Please note that slides may or may not be available during the month of August when school goes back into sessions due to reduced staffing levels!


Safety Check

At 2 p.m. every day, we clear all pools for a 20-minute safety check. Adults older than 18 are allowed to swim in the main pool during this time. The slides and tot pool are closed during this break. At this time we perform safety checks on the pool and equipment and perform shift rotations.


Bay Blitz

Come and join us for a full week of water aerobic madness at the Bay! Class will be held at the Bay Monday - Friday from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. beginning Mid August.You may use your punch cards from PDRC and BCC, Recreation or Bay Season Pass, or pay the drop-in fee!


Inclement Weather/Fecal Accidents

*Safety is our priority!

*The Bay will not open if the outside temperature is predicted to be below 70° F throughout the entire day.

*The Bay must be cleared any time lightning or severe weather is in the immediate area.  The facility will re-open 30 minutes after the last sight of lightning if sufficient time remains in the day.

*The Bay may close temporarily or permanently throughout the day due to inclement weather, lightening, or fecal accidents. Refunds are not given. Same day use passes are given should the Bay re-open.


Emergency Preparedness Notification

To ensure staff in our facilities are comfortable and effective when responding to an emergency situation, our facilities or areas of each facility, may be cleared to practice and assess emergency processes and procedures. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.


Admittance

Everyone is required to pay the daily admittance fee or show his or her season pass to enter the park. All children 6 years and younger must be accompanied in the pool by a paying adult 18 years or older. The resident Recreation ID card can be used to secure the discounted daily drop-in fee.  Verification of residency is required to receive this ID card. The card is valid for two years and may be obtained at BCC or PDRC. Please note: The Bay Aquatic Park cannot accept bills larger than $20.

Season Pass

A season pass is available for Broomfield residents only.  Verification of residency must be presented at the time of purchase. The season pass is good for unlimited admission to the Broomfield Bay Aquatic Park. Season passes are purchased individually for $80 per person. A family pass includes two adults and all children younger than 18 claimed as dependents on your income tax and living at the same residence. The maximum family cost is $400 for the season. After the fifth paying family member each additional member is free. Proof of residency must be presented at the time of purchase.


Special Group Use

Any organized group, seeking group rates, must call at least three working days prior to use. All participants receive an approximate 10% discount off the appropriate daily fee. Please note: a limited number of groups are allowed each day. Some days may be booked prior to the three-day time frame. Fax completed form to 303.410.3818 or call 303.464.5509 with questions.

Bay Group Reservation


We will begin booking resident user groups on February 1, 2017 and non-resident user groups on March 1, 2017.  We will book user groups based on a first come, first serve basis according to availability and group size.  Please make sure you provide alternate dates in case your first request is full


Rentals

After hours rentals are available at the Bay on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings from 6-10 p.m.

Birthdays at the Bay

We offer birthday party packages which include two table reservations for two hours. Package prices depend upon the number of people in your group. Fax completed form to 303.410.3818 or call 303.464.5509 with questions.

All parties must be booked in advance. We request at least a two week notice for party bookings and we require payment upon booking.

Lockers

Lockers are available for use. You need to bring your own padlock for use on a daily basis, or purchase a padlock at the Bay office for $5. Personal belongings can not be left in lockers overnight. Broomfield Recreation Services will not hold any personal belongings and is not responsible for lost or stolen belongings.
