  1. Children - Preschool Story Time

    October 22, 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Children's Library Story Room

    Preschoolers enjoy stories and songs that develop early literacy skills and foster curiosity. This program is reserved for children ages 3 - 5 who can sit on their own and comfortably participate in a variety of literature based activities geared towards preparing children for learning to read. Asking children to attend without their caregivers helps to develop a sense of independence that will be needed as they start school. No registration required.Stop at the Children's Desk for a name tag and a ticket. This program is repeated on Thursdays,1:30 p.m.. - 2:00 p.m..

    The Children's Library and the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art have teamed up to bring you an art-making workshop each month in 2013. Join visiting artist Heather Cherry and express yourself through a variety of art media, with the emphasis on creativity and fun! Held on the 4th Tuesday of each month. For ages 6 - 12.   3. Teen - Boost Your Brain - Grades 6 - 12

    October 22, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ the Eisenhower Room, on the 2nd floor of the library, unless otherwise noted.

    Free math and science tutoring. Half-hour sessions available every Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. in the Teen Zone.This program is for teens in grades 6 -12. Registration is required and may be done at the Teen Zone desk or by calling the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library Young Adult Department at 720.887.2360.
