The Children’s Library presents a back-to-school reading program “Reading with Ringling”! Visit the library in September and pick up a Ringling Rewards Club Card for children ages 2 – 12 years. Just read any 5 books of your choice and return the card to the library to be stamped. Ringling Rewards Club Cards can be exchanged in advance at the circus box office for a FREE circus ticket. One adult ticket must be purchased for every three FREE kids’ tickets redeemed. See library for more details. Stop in now – program runs from September 1 - September 30, supplies are limited and the circus comes to town in October. As part of the BIG LIBRARY READ program, we will be featuring Nancy Clancy, Super Sleuth in both downloadable eBook and audio book formats from September 16th – 30th. During this two-week period, this book from the Nancy Clancy series will be available for every patron that wishes to read it - no holds, no waitlists. This open house event will take place on Saturday, September 28, 10 – 5 p.m. and Sunday, September 29, 1 – 4 p.m. This event is in the popular Lego format this year – everything has been created with Legos. The kids in the Youth in Model Railroading organization have built a whole city block and several different working train setups – all made with Legos! See what the organization has to offer and enjoy a good time with the trains. For the whole family.
