Boulder Opera: Orlando by Handel
The Boulder Opera is back with a full production of the beautiful music of Orlando’s Handel. The story was inspired by Ludovico Ariosto’s Orlando furioso in the medieval times, but we are setting the story in the Wild West. Orlando, the deputy Sheriff is desperately in love with Angelica, who is in turn in love with a cowboy, Medoro; in this hopeless situation Orlando is driven to madness from which only Zoroastro, a mystic cowboy can save him.

Directed by Michael Kilcoyne and featuring an ensemble orchestra led by Mathieu D’Ordine.
