Commercial Kennel
Broomfield Municipal Code - Section 6-08-060
Broomfield Municipal Code - Chapter 6-36

Commercial Kennel is described as any establishment or other place where one or more animals, either temporarily or permanently, are bred, born, raised, boarded, trained, kept, fed, for money or any other consideration, or sold.  Residential kennels are not allowed within the City and County of Broomfield.

Commercial Kennel licenses expire March 1 each year.  The annual fee for  a commercial kennel is $50.00.

Once the completed application is returned to the City Clerk's Office with the applicable fee, an Animal Control Officer will visit the facility to complete an inspection.  When the application is processed, the new license will be sent in the mail approximately one week after the inspection.

New applicants must use the application provided by the City Clerk's Office.  See Application and Municipal Code for detailed instructions and process information.
