Pilates Mat Work
Pilates offers a system of conditioning to develop lean, well-toned muscles, balance, strength and flexibility, improved posture and mind / body connection and an overall sense of well-being. Finish a Pilates workout, and feel refreshed, invigorated and energized.

Pilates with Props

The equipment is used to help stretch and lengthen the body to find correct alignment of joints and work stabilizing muscles in each of the Pilates exercises to build strength.

Tai Chi
Taijiquan (Tai Chi) is a Chinese exercise and martial art for the body, mind and spirit. Practiced in a slow, relaxed manner that cultivates internal energy, mental awareness, a sense of calm and improves balance, coordination, circulation and muscle tone. New and continuing students are welcome to join this class.

Masssage Therapy
Relieve Stress and Pain! Many athletes use massage therapy as a means of preventing and/or healing sports injuries. Swedish, Deep Tissue and Sports Massage are common therapies that will aid your recovery. They help flush out exercise by- products that cause muscle stiffness and soreness, improve circulation and range of motion, relieve spasms, restore suppleness, and can identify tender areas before they develop into injuries. Regularly scheduled massages help to improve range of motion, and prevent injuries to muscles and tendons, boost energy and endurance, promote endorphin release, thereby reducing pain caused by constricting muscle fibers. Please call 303.460.6901 to schedule a massage at the Paul Derda Recreation Center. Fees are payable by cash or check to massage therapist.
