Summer Storytimes
Baby Story Times
  • Ages: Newborn to 24 months (with caregiver)
  • Dates: Thursdays, June 6 - July 25
  • Times: 9:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. and repeated from 10 a.m. to 10:20 a.m.
This is an interactive story time for babies their parent or caregiver that focuses on the "three R's:" rhythm, rhyme, and repetition. Enjoy age-appropriate books, songs, rhymes, and baby sign language, all intended to promote language development and early literacy in a lively and fun atmosphere. Facts on brain development, early literacy, and social emotional growth are shared throughout the program. The event includes time for adults to socialize and babies to play.

Family Story Times
  • Ages: All ages are welcome, but the focus during the summer months is on toddlers and preschoolers.
  • Dates: Tuesdays, June 11 - July 23
  • Time: 10 - 10:30 and repeated from 10:45 - 11:15.
This program features participatory stories, songs, and movement activities geared towards promoting early literacy and building a foundation for a love of books. Join us for a wonderful, shared experience for the whole family. Pick up a free ticket for each person attending story time.  Tickets will become available 1/2 hour prior to each event.  Space is limited.
