Broomfield Library Friends
The Broomfield Library Friends (BLF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization whose mission is to promote and support the library, provide special items, encourage gifts, endowments and memorials, and sponsor educational community events and activities. Membership is open to everyone. Annual dues and donations are tax deductible as the law permits.

BLF's Executive Committee is a group of volunteers whose officers are:

 Robyn Duda


The Executive Committee meets at the Library at 7 p.m. on the 2nd Tuesdays in January, March, May, July, September, and November. Guests are welcome to attend. The Annual Meeting for all members is held the third Thursday in September.


BLF has approximately 300 members.

BLF's programs and activities include:

  • Used book store and gift shop
  • Used book sales (semi-annually)
  • Children's and Teen Summer Reading Program (June-August)
  • Special guest speaker programs
  • Volunteer members are needed to help out with fundraising projects, membership drives, used book sales, and to work in the used book store and gift shop for two hours every other week.

Gift Shop

Friends operates a used book store and gift shop in the library near the entrance. Members of BLF receive a 10% discount on purchases in the shop plus other benefits.
