City Clerk
About the City Clerk
The City Clerk's Division is responsible for the preparation of agendas and minutes for City Council, Local Licensing Authority and Board of Equalization meetings. The Clerk's office issues liquor, solicitors and various other city and county licenses and permits. Other services provided by the Clerk's office include maintenance of the Municipal Code, recruitment for Boards and Commissions vacancies, assistance to the Elections Division, maintenance of Broomfield's official records and responding to public records requests.

Boards and Commissions
Broomfield Boards and Commissions has fourteen citizen advisory boards appointed by the City Council to work with and advise the City Council regarding community issues and interests.

Board of Equalization (Property Tax Appeals)
Broomfield taxpayers may appeal the Assessor's valuations on their real and personal property through the protest or abatement process to the Board of Equalization (BOE).

Broomfield Municipal Code (BMC)
Rules and regulations governing the City and County of Broomfield are found in the Broomfield Municipal Code.

Licensing

Local Licensing Authority (LLA) 
The Local Licensing Authority (LLA) approves or rejects liquor / beer license applications, hears appeals on the denial of solicitors licenses, and suspends or revokes ambulance licenses and food establishment licenses.
