Healthy Brain, Well Child

Creative Tools to Nurture the Family
Friday, February 1 - Sunday, March 1
All kinds of caregivers are invited: parents, foster parents, grandparents—anyone who cares for a child who is dealing with challenging behaviors and strong emotions.  FREE creative arts therapy group will be offered concurrently for toddlers to 10-year-olds. Parent Book Study Group on No Drama Discipline AND Yoga for Children
We will join together once a week each Thursday in February & March to discover some ways to shift your discipline methods slightly and make the results much more effective, with no damage to the relationship!

Yoga for Children will meet once a week each Thursday in February and March to help facilitate move-ment and relaxation for children while caregivers engage in the Parent Book Study Group.

Families First is a local nonprofit that serves the state of Colorado, as a leader in ending the cycle of child abuse by providing, among other services, a variety of parenting classes.  Their proactive parent education is done via parenting classes and Circle of Parents (R) Support Groups and are offered in English and Spanish.  They offer a variety of parenting classes for parents of children of all ages.  Their support groups are offered to parents, primary caregivers, kinship providers, single moms, and single dads.  Classes and groups are offered in a variety of locations in the Metro area and include a free children's group.  Call or check out their website for a full list of the classes and groups offered.
