2014 Early Childhood Summit

This event is not just for child care providers.    It is for ANYONE working with or caring for young children.
Anyone working with or caring for early childhood will find tools, techniques and new ideas on what impacts children the most and how to help provide for their quality education and care.  Whether it is advocacy, education, parenting, or providing health care, if you have interaction with children or their families - this conference will be beneficial for your continued learning.  For more information or to register, go to the event's website.

Families First is a local nonprofit that serves the state of Colorado, as a leader in ending the cycle of child abuse by providing, among other services, a variety of parenting classes.  Their proactive parent education is done via parenting classes and Circle of Parents (R) Support Groups and are offered in English and Spanish.  They offer a variety of parenting classes for parents of children of all ages.  Their support groups are offered to parents, primary caregivers, kinship providers, single moms, and single dads.  Classes and groups are offered in a variety of locations in the Metro area and include a free children's group.  Call or check out their website for a full list of the classes and groups offered.
