Cultural Affairs

The Cultural Affairs division manages facilities, programs, museums and the allocation of public funds for culture in Broomfield.  This includes:
  • Producing and promoting performing and visual arts programs
  • Scheduling and managing the Broomfield Auditorium and Gallery
  • Managing the Broomfield Depot Museum and collection
  • Providing staff support to the Broomfield Depot Museum Friends, Broomfield Veterans Memorial Museum Board, Broomfield Cultural Council, the Public Art Committee and the Broomfield/Ueda Sister City Committee
  • Facilitating implementation of the Creative Broomfield Master Plan. For information on update of the Arts and Culture Master Plan, click here.
  • Consulting and collaborating with other city & county departments and community organizations to expand cultural diversity, arts education, lifelong access, event programming and volunteer opportunities
  • Providing year-round cultural information to the general public
