Welcome copy.jpg
The Children's Library serves readers from birth to middle school and the people who work with them, including family members, child care providers, teachers and scout leaders. We are staffed all hours that the library is open, using 3 full-time children's librarians and several assistant librarians.  We may be reached directly by calling 720-887-2315.

Access information on library programs for children through the links on the left. Library programs are planned for specific grades and ages, please respect the grade and/or age limit for each program.

A super special event from our partners at the Mariposa Center:
Calling all superheros and superheroines!

We are offering Kids in Capes next week (M-F from 9:30-11) at The Mariposa Center. This is a fun camp-like group where we have an opportunity to work on social skills, improve self-expression and impulse control through movement, and create an inner  "superhero" to tap into the child's natural strengths and amazing qualities (through many different creative art modalities - paper, clay, costuming!). This is a great opportunity to get a child used to being in a group of peers before school starts up in a few weeks! On the final day of the camp the kids offer a presentation of their superheros to their parents and the parents have an opportunity to schedule a free consultation with the group leaders to ask questions and figure out next steps for their child.

We are able to bill Medicaid for the group for those who live in Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, Weld, and Denver counties. For those who don't have Medicaid, we are able to honor what fits for your family's budget - so please talk to us about what you can afford - anyone who wants to attend is welcome. The camp is appropriate for all kinds of kiddos between ages 3 and 9. Sibling sets welcome!

For questions and to register please email or call 720.288.5090 by Friday, August 1.
