Now is the time to start thinking about what you are going to do with the kids this coming summer. We offer a fantastic summer camp program that makes sure your kids have fun all summer long! Kids are busy with games, arts & crafts, field trips, swimming, and playing held at Aspen Creek K–8. Campers will go on 3 to 4 field trips per week. Trips from previous years include The Zoo, Broomfield Bay, Water World, Rafting, Hiking, Elitches, Jump City, Casa Bonita and many more. Our program is licensed by the State of Colorado and is held to the highest standards. Our program is open to any child who is currently enrolled in Kindergarten all the way up until High School!

Walk-In Registration - Walk-In Registrations will be accepted at both the Paul Derda Rec Center and Broomfield Community Center. Hours for walk in registration are from 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m

School’s Out!
What’s better than having a day off from school? Having something to do! You’ll be able to hang out with your friends throughout days filled with activities and field trips. Each field trip will depart the Broomfield Community Center at 9:30 am and return by 4 pm. Sign-in will be upstairs in the loft. Each trip is supervised by trained Day Camp Staff. Each day kids need to pack two snacks, lunch, and a water bottle.

Pre-Camp @ the Broomfield Community Center

Don’t worry; we know school is out for some of us before Camp Explorer and Extreme Explorer begin. For this week we will be meeting at the Broomfield Community Center, and we will go on trips every day. Campers will enjoy full day trips such as the Denver Zoo, museum, bowling, and skating. Space is limited for these trips so be sure to register as soon as possible!

Camp Explorer @ Aspen Creek

Quandary and Torreys
Our Quandary and Torreys age groups are for campers who are currently in Kindergarten through 3rd grade (2015/2016 school year)! The Camp Explorer age groups have three field trips per week and time spent at Aspen Creek keeps kids engaged in different games, sports, activities, and theme days.

Campers MUST be 6 years old by the first day of camp!

Extreme Explorers @ Aspen Creek
Crestone (4th–5th) and Pikes (6th–7th)
Our Crestone group is making the jump from Camp Explorer to Extreme Explorer. This year the Crestone group is joining the Extreme Explorers on an additional trip each week. The Crestone and Pikes Peak groups are for campers who are currently in 4th through 7th grade (2015/2016 school year)! Extreme Explorer age groups have four field trips per week and time spent at Aspen Creek will keep your kids engaged in a variety of games, sports, activities, and theme days!

Summer Camp Extras @ Aspen Creek
For registered Summer Camp participants only!
Camp Extras such as Computer Explorers, Young Rembrandts and Swim Lessons will be available to Camp Explorer Participants only. For more information please contact Billy Cooper at 303.464.5541 after Registering for camp.

Extension Camp @ the Broomfield 
Community Center
Broomfield Recreation is aware that not all school districts operate on the same schedule. To account for this, we will be offering an Extension Camp at the Broomfield Community Center for campers who do not go back to school until a later date. Just like our Pre-Camp, Extension camp will be attending a field trip every day. Trips from years past have included Pirates Cove, Boondocks, and Adventure Golf. You won’t want to miss this grand finale to wind down camp for 2016!

Cirque 2016
Registration for Cirque 2016 will follow the same process as outlined above for the Camp Explorer program. Please be sure to complete all steps in the Pre-registration process and take note of the Early Bird Registration dates depending on your family's status.Cirque meets in the mornings Aspen Creek and then goes on a full day trip. Registration includes transportation to and from destination, as well as trip admission. Lunch is not provided unless included with admission.
