Cirque

Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, exciting, and high quality program. This will be achieved by providing activities that will be intriguing, challenging, and informative and will provide opportunities for teens to be active members of the community. If you are looking for fun things to do just a couple of days per week, sign up for Cirque! We meet in the mornings Aspen Creek and then go on a full day trip. This summer, registration includes transportation to and from destination, as well as trip admission. Lunch is not provided unless included with admission. Tentative trips include: Alpine Slide, Denver Zoo, Pirate's Cove, Fun City, Elitch's, Water World, Dave and Busters, Casa Bonita, Whitewater Rafting, and more. Please note: some trips may need to leave earlier than 9 am.

Teen Adventure Series
This monthly series is brought to you through a cooperative effort by the cities of Broomfield, Commerce City, Hyland Hills, Northglenn, and Thornton. All trips are open to youth in grades 6th - 12th and are supervised by trained staff. Please be on time for departure! For ages 11–17 years. Meeting Location: PDRC.


Harlem Globetrotters Game and Stadium Tour - PRICE REDUCED!

Join us today for a trip to see all the behind the scenes action with our private tour of the 1STBANK Center. The excitement and fun won’Tuesday end there as we will see the world famous Harlem Globetrotters who have been thrilling families and millions of fans for 88 years. Grab your friends for a fun night! Please bring money to purchase a meal or snacks at the concession stands.

Paintball
We will go to Blitz Paint Ball for a fun-filled day of paintball and lunch. Price includes 500 paintballs, rental equipment, and roll play games. All gear, equipment, supplies and lunch is included! Waiver needed!

Horseback Ride with Steak Dinner
Join us as we head up to Sombrero Ranch in Estes Park for an awesome horseback ride that includes an authentic cowboy dinner. We will ride along the mountain trail, watching for elk, deer or coyotes. After an hour ride we will arrive at a roaring campfire, where we will enjoy potatoes, baked beans and steak for dinner. After dinner and checking out the beautiful scenery, our ride will continue back to the stables. Fee includes supervision, horseback riding, full dinner and transportation.

Clear Creek River Rafting
Enjoy on a 1/3-day trip as you ride the waves in with Clear Creek Rafting Company. Float past an historic waterwheel, drop over Castle Falls, paddle though Mountain Lion, then hold on tight for Mr. Twister. It’s the perfect introduction to whitewater! Participants need to wear swimsuit attire and appropriate footwear. Please bring a sack lunch or money to stop at Subway on the river. Pre-registration by June 9 required! Waiver needed!

Dave & Busters / Rockies Game
Join us for a great day at the Ballpark. We will start off the afternoon with a lunch at Dave & Busters for the Eat and Play Combo. After our meal we will all enjoy a few rounds of games in the Arcade before we head to the Ballpark to Watch the Rockies Take on the Minnesota Twins.

End of Summer Campout!
With summer winding down, it’s time to head out into nature for one final weekend hurrah! Join us on this overnight trip. We will be heading up Saturday morning to enjoy hiking, canoeing, climbing. The fun won’Tuesday end there as we will sing songs and make s’mores next to the campfire. We will be returning Sunday afternoon after breakfast and our morning activities!

Advanced Care Babysitting Course
This course is designed to give the knowledge necessary for first time babysitters 11–14 years of age to be responsible for young children and includes a babysitting certificate and CPR/First Aid certification thru American Heart Association. The skills covered are CPR/First Aid, growth and development, prevention and personal safety, discipline, fire safety and basic child care feeding, diapering and bathing. Students need to bring a sack lunch, snack, and a drink. Payable by CHECK only to Advanced Care. Age: 11–14 years  Location: BCC

At Home Alone with First Aid
This popular entertaining workshop is designed to prepare children to be at home alone. Important skills are learned through interactive lessons and role play that help make both you and your child more confident when they are at home alone. Students need to bring a sack lunch, snack, and a drink. Payable by CHECK only to Advanced Care. Age: 11–14 years  Location: BCC

Defensive Driving–Level 1 
This is a four hour class designed to encourage drivers to understand the hazards of driving. We will learn how to keep our focus on driving and not become distracted. We will discuss the dangers of speeding and the importance of wearing seat belts. This class is a great refresher course for the adult driver, or an introductory class for the new driver. This class is taught by a former Colorado State Patrol officer who brings her years of experience working on the highways of Colorado into the classroom.Payable by CASH ONLY day of class. Class day registration begins at 30 minutes prior to start of class. CASH only is accepted. Age: 16 years and older  Location: BCC
