The Broomfield Police Department utilizes a team of public information officers. They are responsible for meeting with the press, addressing any inquiries from the media, and serving as the voice of the Department. The team is comprised of Program Administrator/Emergency Manager Kent Davies, Public Education Coordinator Joleen Reefe (primary PIO), Sergeant Steve Griebel (Assistant PIO), and Sergeants Mark Goodell, Rick Kempsell, Brendan Sullivan, David Walts, and Heidi Walts (supporting PIOs).
