Caregiver Respite Information
Are you providing care for someone 60+ in Broomfield County? Please contact Senior Services at 303.464.5529 or email Lane Claxton to find out how the Caregiver Respite Program may be able to assist you with no cost, temporary, in-home services. Qualifications are based on need. This valuable program provides respite care for family members and/or regular caregivers while supporting seniors the opportunity to age in place. Funding is made possible thanks to a local grant and contributions from individuals which are strictly voluntary and confidential. If you would like to contribute, please call 303.464.5526.  

Tech Café
Tech Café provides assistance to library patrons on technology or computer questions. This is a drop-in program and no prior appointment is necessary. Just bring your device and questions to a Tech Café session.
First Fridays at the Broomfield Community Center from 12:30-2:30 p.m.                                                   
Second Wednesday at The Lodge at Skyestone 11057 N. Montane Drive Broomfield, CO 80020 from 2:30-4:30 p.m.

Wellness Program

Senior Wellness Clinic
3rd Tuesday, 9 a.m.-noon, $45 first visit/$35 returning patient
This clinic serves persons 55 years of age and older. Services are provided by registered nurses and include health history and assessment, blood pressure, and foot care. Please call Visiting Nurse Association at 303.698.6496 for more info or to schedule an appointment. Financial assistance is available for those qualified thanks to the SRB Support Fund. Services are provided at BCC.

Hearing Clinic
4th Monday, 9 a.m.-noon, FREE
The Family Hearing Center provides a no-charge hearing clinic at BCC. The clinic includes ear wax removal, hearing screening and hearing device maintenance & repairs. Reservations can be made online at B-REx.com

Volunteer Handyman Program
The Senior Volunteer Handyman Program provides the services necessary to enhance the quality of life for seniors 60+ residing in Broomfield County. The goal of the program is to help seniors live safely and independently. Services include minor home repairs and maintenance and are provided by skilled volunteers. Please call 303.464.5529 or email Lane for more information. In addition to the volunteers, the Handyman Program is also made possible by the generous contributions of individuals. Individual Health Related Needs

Broomfield Senior Services relies on collaboration and partnerships with many organizations to meet personal needs of the senior (60+) population in Broomfield County. These needs can include things such as: dental, vision, hearing, prescriptions, medical, etc. If you are in need of financial assistance to meet these needs, please call 303.464.5529; qualifications apply.

Loan Closet
The loan closet is available for Broomfield residents 60 and older and/or individuals with disabilities. Walkers, wheelchairs, canes, crutches and bath benches are available for short-term loan. Monetary donations are accepted to maintain the equipment. Call 303.464.5526 for more information. The Loan Closet is located at BCC.
