PETRA MUSIC WORKSHOP -Saturday, March 31 from 9 - 11 a.m.
Join members of the instrumental/orchestral rock band Mother Falcon for a special 2-hour workshop for tweens. We will explore famous examples from film and TV scores like The Lion King and Jaws and then compose your own musical piece as a group! No musical experience required.

Free Book for 4 Year Olds: One Book 4 Colorado
Bring your 4-year-old to the Children's Library anytime between April 9-23 to pick up a FREE book in either English or Spanish. This year's book will be announced on Monday, April 9. One Book 4 Colorado aims to get a book into the homes of every 4 year old in Colorado, promoting early literacy skills and helping families serve as their children's first and most important teachers. Pinwheels for Prevention - Tuesday, April 10, 10:45 a.m.
Meet in front of the library to help plant pinwheels in observance of National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The Pinwheel Garden is a reminder of happy childhood days and encourages positive parenting. Healthy children are an essential building block for the community and economic development. The Pinwheels for Prevention campaign focuses on community activities and public policies that prioritize the healthy development of children.
